take me out to the ballgame.......

baseball is in full swing (lol) around here, and we couldn't be more excited.  parker's team has participated in one tournament and then one game.  we were supposed to have games this week, but mother nature had other plans.  baseball isn't very fun when the skies dump 5+ inches on you!  oh well, you know what they say, april showers bring may flowers!
opening ceremonies = tons of cuties in their uniforms!

our team waiting to go on the field!

team pictures after opening ceremonies

but first.....let me take a selfie!  (or is it an us-ie???)

symank construction won the muska tournament!!!  wooo hooo!!!!

parker p. with his coaches!  he was so proud!

parker in action!  he is loving machine pitch this year!

can't forget bubba's biggest fan!  karter with dortitos lips!

at this point, after one tournament (we played four games in tournament) and one league game, we are undefeated........say what?!? parker is doing so well for his first year out of tee-ball.  next year little brother will get to start playing.  i'm not sure the world is ready for that! ha!

16 Weeks Pregnant With Twins

Well.....actually 16 weeks and 4 day pregnant with twins.  This is my first post about the twin pregnancy and I feel pretty comfortable sharing about it now.  We went back to the doctor yesterday and had another quick ultra sound.  Both babies had heart rates around 146 bpm.  Our doctor said that both babies are measuring 11 or so centimeters (head to rump) and both looked great.  Baby A didn't want to be seen very much and was snuggled up to my stomach, but Baby B was full frontal!!!  He check for gender, but couldn't tell anything.  We are scheduled to go for our Anatomy Scan and 4d Ultrasound on January 22, 2016.  We are soooo excited!

Gender/Names:  We find out in 17 days!!!  The countdown is on!  I had a boy/girl dream this weekend, and previously I have a boy/boy dream.....

Sleep: So far so good.  I'm sleeping anywhere from 8-9 hours a night.

Food Cravings:  Fresh fruit, cereal, WATER, candy, and fresh veggies.

Food Aversions: Fish.....not good!

Symptoms: I've been extremely tired and achy the past two days.  We just started back at work after the Christmas holiday, so that explains some of the fatigue.  It will take me a week or two to get back into the swing of waking up at 5:30 am!  My lower back is still hurting, but a massage does tend to help.

Movement:  I haven't felt much movement yet.  I feel little tingles and flutters every now and then.  I can't wait to feel the real thing!

The Heat is On......

Woooo weeee!  It's hot down here in Texas.  I promise to never complain about the cold weather again!  (Yea right!!!)  We haven't officially reached 100 degrees just yet, but tell that to my car thomometer!  According to it, we hit a whopping 112 degrees yesterday! Ha!
This summer has been pretty awesome so far, and we have been finding some pretty great ways to stay cool this summer.  Our favorite is our above ground pool that we got at Walmart.  I can't believe we didn't do this sooner.  The boys absolutely love to swim during the hot summer weekends, and the heat is actually bearable when your in the pool!  We all have a nice golden tan :)
